IPR stepped it up another notch with the GEN3 EGR Delete. The GEN3 features designated inlet and out coolant ports which allows the coolant exiting the OEM oil cooler to be directed to IPR's high flow coolant filter to filter in-line 100% of the coolant flow. The GEN3 is also highly recommend to be used with IPR's External Oil Cooler Kit, this is the only configuration that allows you to filter in-line 100% of the coolant "BEFORE" coolant enters the externally mounted oil cooler. The IPR GEN3 Delete Bypass Manifold is the first true 1 piece patent pending kit on the market that bolts on to the factory oil cooler housing without any hoses, hose clamps or welded joints which is a superior design compared to all other delete kits on the market which are susceptible to leaking or failures.

By manufacturing this as a 1pcs design we've eliminated the connection hose which retail for $40 from the delete tube to the oil cooler water jacket housing. The oil cooler water jacket housing is also eliminated. Here's where you'll save money, when your water jacket housing's nipple is corroded and pitted you'll have to buy a new OEM water jacket which cost about $75. Install IPR's GEN3 delete bypass manifold and never worry about the water jacket nipple leaking, failures at weld joints, leaking hoses and hose clamps. The IPR GEN3 delete bypass manifold is a great diagnostic tool to isolate and test the EGR system and head gasket failures. All modern diesel engine that utilize a EGR cooler requires coolant to cool the exhaust gas. When an EGR cooler or components fail it could simulate a blown head gasket and may be impossible to determine whether a head gasket has failed or and EGR component is leaking. For emissions compliant vehicles we recommend this product for testing and diagnostics only and should never be used or operated on a public highway.
